• Company History: Smarthomes LLC and Smart Crest Inc.

  Smarthomes LLC was founded in 2002 in Sharjah, UAE, specializing in low-voltage system integration and smart building solutions for both residential and commercial buildings. Early projects focused on providing audiovisual systems for restaurants, hospitals, and corporate offices, as well as nurse-call systems for healthcare facilities.

  In 2008, Smarthomes expanded to include low-voltage cable structure installations and infrastructure solutions, meeting the growing technological demands of buildings. By 2010, the company opened its first office in Dubai under the name Smart Engineering Group, adding MEP (Mechanical, Electrical, and Plumbing) services to its portfolio and serving a broader range of clients in both the residential and commercial sectors.

  In 2012, Smarthomes LLC merged with Smart Engineering Services, forming the Smart Engineering Group. The group moved its headquarters to Dubai, combining resources to deliver advanced MEP services, smart building solutions, and building automation systems.

  In 2024, the Smart Engineering Group expanded internationally, with the establishment of Smart Crest Inc. in Ontario, Canada. This new venture focuses on building management systems, energy-saving solutions, hotel room management systems, and smart technology integration for commercial clients, continuing the group’s legacy of innovation and excellence in the field.

  Group Founders

  Smart Engineering Group was founded by three experienced professionals:

  • Oscar Albanna: A telecommunications engineer with over 30 years of experience in designing, installing, testing, and commissioning smart technologies.

  • Wael Khalil: A software engineer with more than 30 years of management experience, specializing in integrating software solutions with building management systems.

  • Wardah Alnunu: A sales and marketing expert with over 20 years of experience in driving business growth in the commercial sector.

  Together, they bring diverse expertise, allowing Smart Crest Inc. to provide leading-edge automation solutions across various commercial sectors, with a focus on energy efficiency and guest experience optimization.
